Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland is responsible for 24 charity shops and a warehouse that sell good quality second-hand furniture, clothing, items of bric-a-brac and books.

The shops are crucial to the work of the organisation, generating much needed money that is used to support essential services for often-needy and vulnerable local older people. 

The shops operate to a very high standard. Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland recognises that to be competitive all shops must look as good as any other retail unit on the High Street. Many volunteers work in the shops and all receive appropriate training.
